My Story
As part of our annual Thank You Fortnight this year, our NHS staff, along with members of local community organisations, are taking part in a Charity Cycle Challenge.
The challenge: to keep a spin bike spinning in our hospital atrium for 8 hours!
Please support our staff by sponsoring them today, to help our Southmead Hospital Charity improve patient care and staff wellbeing. We will be raising money through this event to support life-changing research at your local hospital.

Southmead Hospital Charity is the official charity for the North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT), home to Southmead Hospital, Cossham Hospital, Frenchay Hospital and the Britstol Centre for Enablement.
Working with our dedicated donors and fundraisers, and together with our Trust colleagues, we aim to deliver world-class projects and comforting items over and above what the NHS funds. From pioneering research, cutting-edge equipment, and healing spaces, to patient, family and staff support, donations make the biggest difference to our Trust and patients at NBT. Every pound donated stays local, and everything we fund enriches the healthcare the Trust provides, supporting 1,000,000 people locally, and over four million people across the South West and beyond.
